By default, Gegnar will be using Sludge Bomb and Hex as its moveset. This build allows Gengar to go to lanes instead of the jungle. Def., and Defense can be freely traded for the other stats. Atk or HP to balance Gengar's offense and defense. The build's Boost Emblem loadout should consist of 6 Green Emblems for more damage and 4 White Emblems for additional HP. X Speed adds more mobility on top of Hex, allowing Gengar to maneuver around the battlefield easily. However, Shell Bell can be replaced with Slick Spoon for more damage. Shell Bell also compensates for Gengar's fragility due to its healing effect. Wise Glasses, Choice Specs, and Shell Bell make your Hex-Sludge Bomb combo deadlier. While classified as a Speedster, Gengar can function more as an Attacker with this build and is excellent for quickly bursting down enemies. This build takes advantage of Gengar's near-endless Hex and Sludge Bomb combo.
You can use it defensively or offensively. X Speed makes up for the reduced mobility you have since the build uses Dream Eater instead of Hex. penetration, improving its damage output.
